Track & ETE

ASH Construction Group, is a Track Rail Systems railway contractor in the UK, that specialises in delivering essential services for the UK railway infrastructure, focusing on both track and civil engineering works. Our experienced team is equipped to handle a wide range of track works:

Rail Systems

Track Renewals: new track installation, including excavation, formation treatments, rails, sleepers, and ballast.
Track Maintenance:
Routine Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of tracks to identify wear, damage, or misalignment.
Track Repairs: Performing repairs on damaged rails, sleepers, and fastenings to ensure safety and reliability.
Ballast Maintenance: Cleaning and replenishing ballast to maintain proper drainage and support for the track.
Track Drainage: Installing and maintaining drainage systems by replacing old pipes, installing new drainage channels, and waterproofing.
Rapid Response: Addressing urgent track failures or damage caused by accidents, weather events, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Rail Civils:

Signal Bases: Constructing and installing signal bases to support railway signalling equipment.
UTXs (Under Track Crossings): Installing under track crossings for utilities such as cables and drainage, ensuring that services can safely pass beneath the railway.
Troughing Routes: Laying troughing routes to protect and organise cables along the track, which are used for signalling, telecommunications, and power distribution.
Level Crossings: Install new and upgrading level crossings, road surfaces and warning systems to enhance safety for both road users and rail traffic.
Lineside Fencing: Installing and maintaining fencing to secure the railway boundary and prevent unauthorised access.
Retaining Walls: Building retaining walls is key to stabilise slopes and support the track infrastructure.
Walkways and Access Routes: Creating safe walkways and access routes for railway maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and safe access for inspections and repair works.
Refurbishing railway bridges: By repairing or replacing worn components, the bridge's lifespan is extended, delaying the need for a complete replacement, and making better use of existing infrastructure.
Underpasses: Repairing and maintaining ensures the structural integrity of the passage, minimising the risk of accidents or collapse, and providing a safe crossing environment for users.
Culverts: By repairing damaged culverts, the risk of water pooling near the railway is minimised, maintaining the stability of the trackbed and preventing ground erosion.
Station Enhancements: Enhance passenger facilities and ensure compliance with modern standards.
Safety Inspections and Compliance: As part of our services, we conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure that the track and related civil structures meet safety and regulatory standards.

By focusing on track and civil engineering works, ASH Construction Group plays a critical role in maintaining and upgrading the UK's rail network, ensuring its safety, reliability, and longevity.
